Day 1: Santa Barbara / Arts & Crafts Show / Stearns Wharf
Travel to charming Santa Barbara to explore the weekly Arts & Crafts Show and the many popular specialty shops and eateries on historic Stearns Wharf. End the day with a welcome dinner and an overnight at the Pepper Tree Inn. (D)

Day 2: Monterey / Hearst Castle
Head to incredible Hearst Castle, built by millionaire William Randolph Hearst with furnishings and art from all over the world. You’ll view the exciting wide-screen film “Hearst Castle - Building the Dream” before a guided tour of a portion of the magnificent estate. Then, continue on to Monterey for the next two nights at the Monterey Tides. (B)

Day 3: Carmel / 17-Mile Drive
A local guide will share some of the romance and history of the Monterey Peninsula as you travel along the famous “17-Mile Drive.” Enjoy some of the delights of Carmel before returning to Monterey for time on your own to explore the famous Cannery Row which so inspired novelist and local resident John Steinbeck. Many of the original canneries of Steinbeck’s era have been restored as shops and restaurants. (B)

Day 4: Coalinga / Monterey Bay Aquarium
Discover Monterey Bay’s hidden world as you visit the fascinating Monterey Bay Aquarium, housed in one of the early canneries. Continue on to Coalinga for an overnight and farewell dinner at the elegant Inn at Harris Ranch. (B,D)

Day 5: Home
Head home with exceptional vacation memories. (B)
