Day 1: Mesquite
First overnight is in easygoing Mesquite, Nevada, at the CasaBlanca Hotel Resort Casino with a Welcome Dinner upon arrival. (D)

Day 2: St. George • Salt Lake City
Travel through charming St. George, Utah, founded in 1861 by Mormon cotton growers. You’ll drive past the historic Mormon Temple and the home of Brigham Young. Then, skirt stunning red-rock Zion National Park on your way to the Salt Lake Plaza Hotel, only steps from beautiful Temple Square. (B)

Day 3: Idaho Falls
See the State Capitol Building, the famous Mormon Temple, then visit the Mormon Tabernacle and the Visitors Center. After lunch on your own, continue on a scenic drive to Idaho Falls to spend the night at the Hampton Inn Idaho Falls, within walking distance of the Grand Teton Mall featuring 80 stores. (B)

Day 4: Helena
Journey into Big Sky Country and Butte, Montana, to visit the authentic reproduction of the 1890s mining town of Hell Roaring Gulch at the World Museum of Mining. Then, on to an overnight in Helena at the Red Lion Hotel. (B)

Day 5: Kalispell
Enjoy a fascinating cruise on the Missouri River to The Gates of the Mountains where the walls appear to swing open as you approach. Then, motor on to Missoula, home to the largest smokejumper base in the country. Visit the Smokejumper Visitor Center and spend the night in Kalispell at the Hampton Inn Kalispell. (B)

Day 6: Glacier Park • Waterton Lakes
Journey into magnificent Glacier National Park and take a ride in the Red Bus Jammers along Going-to-the-Sun Highway. This engineering marvel spans 50 miles and includes some of the most exceptional scenery in the world. Then, cross the border into the Canadian Province of Alberta and spend the night at The Aspen Village Inn in beautiful Waterton Lakes. (B).

Day 7: Banff
Drive through Kootenay National Park into the alpine grandeur of Banff for panoramic views of the majestic snow-capped Canadian Rockies. Then. visit Banff National Park before a cruise on the blue waters of Lake Minnewanka. Spend the next two nights in Banff Village on the glacial-green Bow River at the Mount Royal Hotel. (B,D)

Day 8: Columbia Icefield Morning sightseeing along the awe-inspiring Columbia Icefield Parkway to Athabasca Take the ferry to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island and visit the beautiful Butchart Gardens before continuing to Victoria, the Provincial Capital of British Columbia. Spend two nights at the Inn at Laurel Point.(B)

Day 9: Lake Louise • Revelstoke, BC
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before traveling to Lake Louise to see the famous Chateau Lake Louise Hotel. Then, visit the Samson Mall for lunch on your own at the Lake Louise Village Grill & Bar. You’ll understand why The Victoria Glacier is a sight to see as well as the views of exquisite Lake Louise from the restaurant. Then, depart through Kicking Horse Pass and take the Trans-Canada Highway into British Columbia’s Yoho National Park. Travel through Roger’s Pass to an overnight at the Hillcrest Hotel in Revelstoke. Day 10: Harrison Hot Springs
Today’s journey takes you through Kamloops and Cache Creek for a late afternoon arrival in Harrison Hot Springs. Spend the night at The Harrison Hot Springs Resort. (B,D)

Day 11: Vancouver
Motor along Canada Hwy #1 to Vancouver, British Columbia, for a driving tour of this most beautiful city. Overnight at the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier. (B)

Day 12: Butchart Gardens • Nanaimo • Victoria
Take the ferry to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island and visit the beautiful Butchart Gardens before continuing to Victoria, the Provincial Capital of British Columbia. Spend two nights at the Inn at Laurel Point.(B)

Day 13: Victoria
This morning you’ll have a narrated tour of the city highlights with the afternoon free for individual exploration. This evening, enjoy your “Last Night in Canada Dinner” at the hotel. (B,D)

Day 14: La Conner
Say goodbye to Canada as you go through Canadian Immigration & Customs formalities in Sydney, BC. Then, board the ferry and sail through the San Juan Islands to cross the U.S. border where you’ll clear U.S. Customs & Immigration formalities in Anacortes, Washington. Overnight in nearby La Conner at the La Glacier for a thrilling snocoach ride on the glacier. Return to Banff for free time. (B)

Day 15: Olympia • Eugene
Head south and drive by the Washington State Capitol in Olympia. Then, continue into Oregon for an overnight in Eugene at the Eugene Hilton Hotel. (CB)

Day 16: Redding
Continue south and see the amazing giant redwoods in Redding, CA. Overnight at The Red Lion Inn. (B)

Day 17: Fresno
A good breakfast will make your journey to the San Joaquin Valley more enjoyable. You’re on your way to Fresno, number one in the nation for agriculture. Overnight at the Double Tree by Hilton. This evening will be your Farewell Dinner Party at the Doubletree, and don’t forget to collect the names and numbers of newfound friends you’d like to stay in touch with. (B,D)

Day 18: Home
