Day 1: Kingman
Head to Barstow where the Old Mojave and Mormon trails came together with Route 66. You’ll view the House of the Desert, built in 1911 as a Harvey House Hotel. It was restored by the City of Barstow after the 1992 earthquake and now houses the Western America Railroad Museum on the east side and the Route 66 “Mother Road” Museum on the north side. Then, continue on to Kingman near “the heart of historic Route 66,” once known as the “Main Street of America.” The old Santa Fe Depot and the steam locomotive in the city park recall when Kingman was an established railroad stop. With the coming of Route 66, also known as the Main Street of America, Kingman became an important stop for travelers. End the day with a Welcome Dinner at the Dambar Steakhouse, an authentic Western steak house with displaying local cattle brands and old photos. Overnight at the King’s Inn. (D)

Day 2: Williams / Route 66 Museum
A driving tour of Kingman will show you the highlights before a visit to the Kingman Route 66 Museum where murals and life-size dioramas capture what became known as the “Mother Road.” You’ll also see the NEW Route 66 Electric Vehicles Museum displaying many vehicles. Next, travel along the longest original, uninterrupted stretch of Route 66 in the country. Make a stop in Seligman, best known for the Snow Cap Drive-In built in 1953 from scrap lumber. Continue along Route 66 to Williams, AZ, known as the “Gateway to the Grand Canyon.” Spend the nexttwo-nights at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel. (B,L)

Day 3: Williams / Grand Canyon Railway / Grand Canyon Tour
Ride the Grand Canyon Railway to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. A narrated driving tour will show you some of the wonders of the “grandest canyon of them all” with time to stroll and enjoy the scenic beauty. Travel a short distance to see the natural wonder from another viewpoint as you watch the film “Grand Canyon: The Hidden Secrets.” Return to Williams for the night. (B,L)

Day 4: Sedona / Mesa
Motor to beautiful red-rock Sedona and see the highlights on a trolley tour. It will make a stop at the beautiful Chapel of the Holy Cross. Stroll and shop in the lovely boutiques and galleries before continuing on to Mesa, AZ, to spend the night. End the day with a Farewell Dinner. (B,D)

Day 5: Home
Return home with unequaled memories of your Grand Canyon & Route 66 adventure. (B)
