Days 1 & 2: Mesa / Gallup
Travel to Colorado at an easy pace with an overnight in Mesa and a Welcome Dinner at the Holiday Inn. Spend the next night in Gallup, NM, at the Gallup Hampton Inn. (D,B)

Day 3: Durango
Relive Old West history as you enter Durango, CO, for an overnight at the Doubletree Hotel. (CB)

Day 4: Gunnison / Durango-Silverton Railroad
All aboard for a ride on the famous Durango-Silverton Narrow-Gauge Railroad as it chugs through stunning canyons, beneath towering peaks and beside the rushing Animas River. The final destination is the old mining village of Silverton.
Then, re-board your motorcoach and continue over The Million Dollar Highway to Gunnison to spend the night at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites. (B)

Day 5: Colorado Springs / Royal Gorge Railroad
Travel by motorcoach to Cañon City to board the Royal Gorge Route Railroad. You’ll be served a delicious lunch while traveling the scenic Denver and Rio Grande rail routes. Then, continue on to Colorado Springs for two nights at the Embassy Suites. (CB,L)

Day 6: Colorado Springs / Pikes Peak Cog Railway
You’ll ascend to the 14,110-foot summit of Pike’s Peak aboard the Cog Railway for panoramic views. Back in Colorado Springs you’ll tour the red-rock Garden of the Gods. (B,L)
Day 7: Denver / Cripple Creek Rail
Motor to Cripple Creek where one of the largest gold strikes in history took place. Ride on the Cripple Creek & Victor Narrow-Gauge Railroad as it passes several small ghost towns and goldmines. Then, travel to old-and-new Denver for two nights at the Sheraton Denver Hotel. Dinner will be a taste of country with a delicious chicken dinner at the White Fence Farm. (B,D)

Day 8: Denver
A driving tour will show you highlights of “Mile High” Denver before a stop at the Forney Museum of Transportation with a one-of-a-kind collection of over 500 exhibits relating to historical transportation. The rest of your day is free to explore the city. (B)

Day 9: Grand Junction / Georgetown Loop
Visit the old mining town of Georgetown for a ride on the historic Georgetown Loop Railroad. Then continue on to the Doubletree Hotel in Grand Junction for the night. (B)

Day 10: Richfield / Colorado National Monument
View the Colorado National Monument where spectacular canyons cut into red sandstone and granite. Then head to Richfield, Utah, to spend the night at the Hampton Inn. (B)

Days 11 & 12: Mesquite / Home
Travel home by way of Mesquite, Nevada, for an overnight with Farewell Dinner at the Casablanca Resort. Head home the next day. (B,D;B)
